Atlantis bets big on casino gaming

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is betting big on the future of casino gaming. The iconic property, located in Reno, Nevada, has completed a $16 million expansion project that has added a new high-limit gaming area and doubled the size of its existing casino.

The new high-limit area is designed for premium players and offers an intimate setting with luxurious surroundings and exclusive amenities. It features 14 tables for blackjack, baccarat, and craps; four poker tables; and a private lounge.

"The expansion is going to help us compete with the top casinos in the country and attract more high-end guests to our property," said Atlantis COO Tony McKernan.

In addition to the new high-limit area, the casino floor has been doubled in size to 33,000 square feet. This includes a new race and sports book, which offers seating for up to 400 guests and features giant LED screens for watching all the action.

Other enhancements include a new bar called Mix 94.5 Lounge, which is named after Reno's top radio station; a second Starbucks; and five additional dining options including Claim Jumper, Sbarro, Denny's, Fatburger, and Orange Julius.

Atlantis Reno is owned by Boyd Gaming Corporation (BYD), one of the largest casino operators in the United States. The company has 29 properties located in six states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Nevada, New Jersey, and Mississippi.

Atlantis launches online casino

How to play and win at Atlantis

Atlantis is a casino game that is reminiscent of blackjack, but with a few twists. The objective of Atlantis is to beat the dealer by either getting closest to 21 or achieving a total higher than the dealer's total, without going over 21. The player can also win by having a blackjack, which is a hand totaling 21 points consisting of an ace and a ten-point card.

To begin the game, the player places their bet in the betting circle. The dealer will then give each player two cards face up and one card face down. The face down card is called the "hole" card. 3) Three Card Trick: This happens when you have any three cards that add up to 21 points or less (again not counting ace as 1 point). This also pays out 2:1 on your bet amount.
